CLEAN AIR POLICY
DBpixelhouse Clean Air Policy - FIAS 2026
As official suppliers of network connectivity at Farnborough we have a responsibility to ensure high quality connections are always available
to exhibitors who have purchased services through the approved channel. Therefore, the following policy will be actively implemented by our DB
Events Network Team throughout the period of the event.
The only Wi-Fi networks allowed are those provided by DBpixelhouse Event Networks Team, or by exceptional agreement
Self-installed Wi-Fi networks are not permitted in Halls 1to 5 at Farnborough
Below are examples or what is prohibited (the list is not exhaustive, and other similar technologies should be counted as included):
• Clients own Wi-Fi acces points (also known as Wi-Fi routers)
• Mobile hotspots (sharing your mobile internet connection, thus creating a Wi-Fi network)
• Mi-Fi devices (4G & 5G Dongles)
• Beacons
• Wireless microphones and / or cameras
• Any other device that uses the unlicensed 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz spectrum.
Please note all exhibitors must comply with DBpixelhouse's Clean Air Policy
To ensure the best Wi-Fi experience, DBpixelhouse actively uses Wi-Fi scanning equipment to detect and shut down unauthorised Wi-Fi networks in exhibitor’s stands and chalets. Unapproved Wi-Fi networks are the primary reason for poor service and network interference for those who have purchased authorised connectivity. By carefully managing the Wi-Fi network, we alleviate these risks and provide better connectivity for all
exhibitors.
Wi-Fi networks in outside areas, including chalets, may be considered in lieu of a management fee (£975). If authorised, you will only be allowed to broadcast on the 2.4 Ghz spectrum & use certain channels approved by DBpixelhouse.
We understand that some exhibitors may require a special Wi-Fi network. If you have a specific business need, please contact DBpixelhouse at networks@dbpixelhouse.com to discuss your business requirement.
